Anna of the North are putting fakers on notice with new track “Money”. Following on from previous singles “Lovers” and “Someone”, “Money” is your third taste of the band's forthcoming debut LP Lovers – don’t mistake it’s ethereal sound, this track packs a punch.
The band had this to say about the track: “Money goes out to all those fake ass people. Users who use those around them; for money, for status, for fame. S/O to fake friends and gold-diggers!”
A beguiling mix of sunshine-drenched beats and pointed lyricism, Anna of the North have a well-earned reputation for crafting the sharpest pop. The duo is comprised of Norway’s Anna Lotterud and New Zealand’s Brady Daniell-Smith
Anna of the North’s debut album Lovers will be released on 8 September via Different Recordings / Honeymoon / +1 Records. The band will play Omeara in London on 26 September.
