Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist EarlGréy is back for 2017 with smooth new cut “Venus”, a track that channels an old school spirit through a fresh approach to production and songwriting. Complimenting EarlGréy’s soulful vocal is fellow New Jersey native See Francis who provides a guest verse
Speaking on about the track, EarlGréy said: “It's only natural to think about your past, but you can't stay there forever. For me, ‘Venus’ symbolizes the unknown, and the pursuit of a better world… In life we have no choice but to embrace and get comfortable with our realities; even if that means being alone sometimes. This song helped me get on with my journey and I’m not looking back, I'm aiming for Venus.”
In 2016 EarlGréy released “Pulldown” and “Overdue” and, as a member of creative collective TheVAMP, has collaborated with folks like Ne-Yo and Very Introspective fave MAAD. With his third single, EarlGréy’s demonstrated that he’s operating on a different level to many of his contemporaries.
EarlGréy will release his debut EP later this year.
