New York City’s EarlGréy has returned with “Overdue”, the perfectly timed follow-up to his debut release “Pulldown”. Written and produced by EarlGréy, “Overdue” will appear on his forthcoming debut EP which is slated for a 2017 release.
On “Overdue” EarlGréy blends soul, pop and hip-hop and layers those silky vocals over darker, heavier beats resulting in this laidback, low-key jam.
Premiering on Mass Appeal, EarlGréy said: “’Overdue’ is how everyone feels at one point or another. In my case it’s a declaration, almost a testament to stay out of my own way. I’ve always kept my music to myself and close friends, until I realized I have a story to tell. We’re all here to help and inspire one another, and me… I guess I’m just overdue.”
EarlGréy is a member of member of creative collective TheVAMP who have collaborated with the likes of Ne-Yo and Very Introspective favourite MAAD.
