“4EVA” is the otherworldly new cut form Lapalux and is lifted from the British producer’s forthcoming album Ruinism. The track started life during a jam session and then came together after Lapalux approached Talvi for the vocal.
A hazy, winding track, “4EVA” is reminiscent of drifting in and out of consciousness. It’s a starkly beautiful track that stands apart from some of the album’s heavier tracks.
“I’d been a fan of her band Prince Innocence for a while and loved her low slung, seemingly effortless style of singing,” said Lapalux. “As soon as I got the vocals from her it all fell into place and I rebuilt the whole song again to fit around them".
Ruinism is released via Brainfeeder digitally on 30 June
