“Go Home”, the new single from Yellow Days (George van den Broek), is beautifully languid, a track that’s akin to drifting in and out of consciousness. Densely layered, the song’s elements blur together - an emotionally impenetrable wash of sound. George had this say about the track: “it's not so much about a specific story or anything. Maybe just about obsessive love.”
Hailing from Haslemere, George is a 17-year-old producer and writer who tackles emotions that are frequently conflicting and confounding. In 2016 he released his debut Harmless Melodies EP which marked him as talent well worth taking note of while “Go Home” sees that bar raised.
Yellow Days plays Camden Assembly on 15 February.
