Lifted from her sophomore EP You Would Have Loved It Here, “Echo” is the emotive new cut from Washington, DC native Young Summer. Young Summer has a gift for perfectly pairing contemplative electronic production with her similarly evocative and charged lyrics. It’s been a treat to hear her songwriting evolve over the years and “Echo” demonstrates that she just keeps getting better.
Young Summer describes the track as a "dreamy love letter to someone you will love but haven't met yet. The feelings so strong that you've painted them in your mind as if you already know them. This song speaks directly to them, wherever they are: 'You’re drowning in the sound / I’m coming back for you now / Can you hear my echo?'"
You Would Have Loved It Here drops on 28 October.
